Janelle Osei - “i’m in love, huh?”

American Independent R&B artist Janelle Osei commissioned me to design playful, cartoony text and visual effects for the music video of her song “i’m in love, huh?”.

Using Adobe After Effects, I crafted vibrant and fun effects that highlighted key lyrics and matched the track’s laid-back, romantic energy.

With over 79,000 combined followers on Instagram and YouTube, Janelle’s audience responded overwhelmingly positively. This video and its short-form snippets have accumulated over 26,000 views. The animated elements not only amplified the visual storytelling but also enhanced the video’s shareability across social media.

Collaborating closely with Janelle ensured the final product aligned seamlessly with her artistic vision. This project reinforced my passion for using animation to boost audience engagement and bring a unique voice to music content.
